From the full-length ballet By yon bonnie banks, Requiem is an intimate and deeply moving reflection on love and remembrance. Performed by Balletto Monson as part of Springboard'26 at PASS Theatre, this ballet-based contemporary work captures the emotional heart of a story that spans cultures, exploring how love transforms us and how those we lose remain with us.

By yon bonnie banks is a moving story of love, loyalty and loss across cultures, told through dance, song and spoken word.

When Astrid, a young Swedish woman, arrives in Scotland for an arranged marriage into the Erskine clan, she discovers belonging, joy and deep love in an unfamiliar land, as two cultures become intertwined.
